“Work for the Night is Coming” is the name of a hymn that we often sing in church. The Wylers on Wheels team have been working for we know that the nights are coming that we will be involved in our new VBS program entitled “Reachout Rescue”. Every member of our team has been designing, preparing, and creating new ideas. Although we all have been working hard on VBS preparation, we had great meetings in some churches leading up to our summer. We recently ministered in Wellsville, Ohio and were so glad to spend Mother’s day Sunday with our long time friends the Timms family. It was great to see Pastor Timms’ ministry flourishing. We were also introduced to Pastor Butterfield’s church in North Canton, Ohio. My mother-in-law was asked to present, “This is my Story, This is my song” the life of Fanny J. Crosby, at a mother/daughter banquet. After a beautiful meal, the sixty mothers, daughters, and friends gathered to hear the amazing story of the blind song writer. We enjoyed the fellowship with the people of this church and were amazed at the beautiful facilities God has provided for them. As we honored our servicemen and women on Memorial Day with the dear folks of Troy Chapel, we were able to share with those at a local cemetery the hope that we can have in Christ. We also shared on this day a memorial with the passing of a dear friend of our family, Warren Smith. What a testimony to see the godly legacy of this family which was an inspiration to me to pass a godly legacy to my children. Warren Smith was able to be with us just a few weeks ago and was truly a blessing to my husband as he whispered in his ear for the last time, “Keep the banner high!” What a challenge for us all!
We are now weathering the heat of Georgia during our first week of VBS. The whole Wyler family is able to be with us as together we were able to celebrate Jerrill and Andrea’s first anniversary. Praise the Lord for His goodness to us as we continue to see Him work in the lives of children and adults through His saving grace. Pray with us that many would come to know Him as their Savior this summer. Check our itinerary to see if we are at a location near you. Let’s all “Work for the Night is Coming” and echo the words of that great Bible verse, “Even so, come, Lord Jesus.”  (Written by: Judy L. Wyler)

In Matthew 22:37 Jesus said, “Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.” Recently my wife and I read this thought, “How do we know that we love Him? Because we desire to do what He commands, and we obey those commands because we want to please and glorify Him rather than ourselves.” Throughout the day place your current action or attitude in the blank of the following phrase. “I am ______ because I love God!" See if it makes sense. Words like “complaining” or “lazy” just do not fit. Instead, live a daily life that is “thankful” and “diligent” because you love God.
Over the past weeks, we have truly seen God’s love for us. During our recent meetings in Burleson, Fort Worth and Weatherford, Texas, we saw God encourage many lives and enhance the fellowship and unity of His people. At Victory Baptist in Burnet, Texas, a 12 year old boy accepted Christ through our Kids-4-Christ ministry. It was his first time being in church. Praise the Lord that “whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” (Romans 10:13) On our way north out of Texas, I pulled in to an RV dealer to replace a vent that broke during the golf ball sized hail the previous night. I noticed our right front truck tire was flat. When I called my dad who was 80 miles ahead, I learned he also had a flat tire on his rig. Thankfully, we were both safely parked near repair facilities when we discovered the tires were flat. After 3,775 miles and 346 gallons of diesel in each truck during our Texas journey, we can truly say God’s been good! On our way to a wonderful weekend meeting in Illinois, we stopped to ride up the St Louis arch. Anyone ever done it? The tram up was so tight, but what a view! Before we head to Wellsville, Ohio for the coming weekend, we will be at the northern memorial service for my mom’s dad, Ron Merrill. After years of faithful service, He went home to be with the Lord on his 75th birthday. You are invited to join us May 6th in Ashland, Ohio. Check our itinerary for details. As we gear up for our brand new summer VBS program, please pray with us for salvations, strength, and safety.

“Howdy Partner!” Before sharing more about our Texas ministry tour, let me update you about the last month. The first week in March we held a revival meeting in Sebring, FL. Throughout the week, we did our “Work for the Night” program to encourage folks to invite friends. The special nights included Pack-a-pew night, Mobile home park night and others. The highlight of the week was the salvation of Ethan, Elissa, Kaylee, and Danielle during our nightly Kids-4-Christ. Ethan came to me on Tuesday night seven minutes before the service began and said, “Mr. Wyler, I’ve been thinking about what you said last night and I want to be 100% sure right now.” So in the few minutes prior to the first hymn, Ethan trusted Christ. On March 19-20, we ministered at two churches in Davenport, FL. Next we headed to Port St. Lucie Bible Church for Jerrill’s ordination council and service. As a testament to his preparation and training, Rev. Jerrill Wyler was successfully ordained and is serving as the Assistant Pastor and also teaching with his wife Andrea at the Barnabas Christian Academy. From Port St. Lucie, Florida our trek towards Texas began. We had a wonderful weekend meeting in Alabama with Pastor Leo Mejia and Hand Ave. Baptist Church. Then we finally arrived in the Dallas/Fort Worth area praising the Lord for 1400 miles of safety. This past Sunday we were at Friendship Baptist in Boyd then Heritage Baptist in Haslet for the evening service. The Lord blessed as we heard from so many encouraged texans. The next few weeks we will be at several churches across the state then travel to Illinois and Ohio. The accident damage to our truck and RV is completely repaired. Now every safe mile consistently reminds us of God’s goodness. As you continue to pray for our ministry and perhaps travel yourself, remember one of my Mom’s favorite sayings, “Safety is of the Lord.”

Dear Friend,
As my 17th birthday rolls around on March 15th, I am thinking about everywhere I have been since my last journal entry. My grandfather passed away this January 16th on his seventy-fifth birthday. He was such a joy to care for as we were in Greenville, SC for the last eleven days of his life. When I told him I loved him, the last words I heard him faintly say were, "I’ll love you forever and ever." I am personally thankful he is not suffering on this earth anymore.
When I think about last summer’s events, I’ll never forget the July 8th phone call of delightful news telling us that baby Titus had finally arrived! The whole time we were awaiting his arrival, I was convinced it would be a boy. That’s just the way it is in the Wyler family. Family is so important to me. I am very thankful my brother Jethniel, sister-in-law Judy, and nephew Titus can travel with us. I relish any time I can be with my brother Jerrill and sister-in-law Andrea who live in Port St. Lucie, FL. I wouldn’t trade my four brothers for a million sisters. I just wish we could all be together more often.
Also, I was able to go to youth conference with my best friend, Ashley Hager, and the youth group from Ripley Baptist Temple. It was a great experience, hearing the Word of God preached, and being involved with hundreds of young people my age.
I still love cooking, baking, and anything I can get my hands on in the kitchen. Other remaining interests include: vibraphone, bells, four-mallet percussion, voice, professional proofreading, American Sign Language, horses, couponing, organizing/cleaning, corresponding, and family. I have enjoyed brainstorming (as we call it) to develop our new Vacation Bible School program. It’s very exciting and I love sharing the gospel with others.
I hope to see you at one of our 2011 meetings: Jerrill’s ordination March 27th, VBS, a concert, or a spring or fall revival meeting. You can see an updated itinerary, pictures, and latest happenings on our web site www.wylersonwheels.com. Thank you so much for keeping in touch with me and being my friend. Grandpa Merrill’s famous statement, "You’re my friend!" comes to mind when I think of YOU!

Your friend,
Javonda Wyler

Unexpected events have filled our last month with reasons to praise the Lord. An open Sunday gave us opportunity to visit a nearby local church in Kissimmee, Florida. During a fellowship hymn, the pastor kindly asked, “Will you sing?” Always eager to serve the Lord, we not only sang that Sunday, but also returned for the following Youth Sunday. It was a privilege to see the Lord revive the hearts of his people. Then on January 5th, we received news that Mom’s dad, Ron Merrill, had been placed under hospice care and could die at any moment. We immediately hitched up our two rigs and made an unanticipated trip to Greenville, South Carolina. For the next 10 days, Mom, with help from the rest of the family and continual visits from the wonderful hospice nurse, cared for Grandpa nonstop. Reading from Mom’s tribute entitled, Getting 100% Well, “Ron Merrill entered Glory on his 75th birthday, January 16, 2011 in Greenville, South Carolina at 5:40 p.m., while the whole family was singing around his bedside. The last instructions by the hospice nurse Diane, which I wrote in my notebook, were ‘Turn him at 8:00 p.m.’ He did turn, right into Heaven and now all is 100% well!” Click here to read the entire tribute. Throughout those two tough weeks, God gave comfort and strength beyond what we could humanly imagine.
On the way back to Florida, we experienced another unforeseen incident. During rush hour traffic in Orlando on January 21, my rig was involved in a three car crash. There was extensive damage to the right side of our truck and RV, but praise the Lord that Jaron, Titus, Judy and I are all safe. With the truck repairs almost finished, we are trusting God concerning the timing, insurance, and RV repair details. The last day of January, we did a concert with over 100 in attendance in Clermont, Florida and look forward to another concert this coming Saturday.
A couple days before Grandpa passed, he said, “I’m going to heaven and I’m not coming back.” Like many of you and your loved ones, we are looking forward to the day when, “In the sweet by and by, we shall meet on that beautiful shore.”

Did you know that 2011 will be 8,760 hours long? As our family recently met to reflect on blessings of the past year, we were reminded of wonderful year full of changes. Two more members were added to the Wyler family. Andrea joined the family by marrying Jerrill on June 5th in Georgia. Jerrill serves as associate pastor and they both teach in the Christian school at the Port St Lucie Bible Church in Florida. Come and join us for Jerrill’s ordination service on January 9th. The second new family member was Titus Jethniel Wyler born on July 8th. What a joy to watch our “little” six-month old grow and learn something new each day. Today, he rode on daddy’s shoulders for the first time.
Not only are we overjoyed by the changes God has made in our lives, but also in the lives of many people we have met this year. Just a few days before Christmas, we presented a program as part of an outreach ministry to prisoner’s children. Jerrill and Andrea were even able to join us. Although each of the 32 prisoner’s children were fed a wonderful meal and received a variety of gifts, four of them went home with an even greater gift. Jethniel, Judy, Jerrill, and Andrea each had an opportunity to lead a child to the greatest gift of all, Jesus.
During the coming 8,760 hours join us in fervently asking God for opportunities to “Lead souls to heaven in 2011." In the hymnwriter's words, "Only one life, 'twill soon be past; only what's done for Christ will last."

As we unhitched our rig for Sunday Services in Newry, Pennsylvania, I noticed the church sign read, “AUTUMN LEAVES, JESUS DOESN’T”. That statement has impacted me during this festive fall season which I enjoy so much. With this greeting sent especially to you, I wanted to quickly share God’s blessings. During our Mikanda, Illinois meeting, a mother and daughter rededicated their lives to the Lord. In Eaton, Ohio, two girls and one boy were saved during our Kids-4-Christ program, which Jethniel leads while Doug preaches to the adults. Following Doug’s preaching Sunday evening in Ripley, West Virginia, a middle aged lady came crying to the altar. The pastor’s wife led her to the Lord. She told the congregation that a friend was taking her to another church, but never picked her up. So she came to this church and met the “True Friend”– Jesus. A mother from our North Carolina meeting just e-mailed us that her son had been praying for some time about God’s will for his life. After the Sunday evening service, he surrendered to preach. Souls for Christ and His service are the rewarding part of our busy road life. Thanks for praying for us. May your day hold eternal rewards as you share Christ through your life and testimony. Have a blessed Christmas season.    ~ Ronda Wyler

As we traveled to several churches across Ohio and Pennsylvania during October, many people have responded to our ministry with encouraging remarks. A sweet lady from Countryside Baptist in Punxsutawney, PA, wrote these kind words. “You are such a great inspiration and do such great work for the Lord.  Hope to meet you all again! PS. I enjoy the CD!” Having traveled over an hour from another church we served at in 2009, a couple remarked, “We just wanted to let you all know how much we really enjoyed the revival services that you had. We wish that life was such that we could have been there for more than just one service. Your family puts so much into the program. The love and unity to which your family serves the Lord is so evident in all of your faces. Since the week that you did our VBS in Salina, PA, I have not ceased to pray for your family DAILY. Keep serving HIM with joy and gladness as we are living in such days of compromise and darkness and as we have seen so many departing from the faith.” Another young lady from Newry, PA wrote the following on our facebook page. “It was so great to see you all! Can't wait for you all to come back!!! :)” God’s goodness and the kindness of his people truly bless and overwhelm our hearts.
We are currently in the midst of revival meetings with Pastor Lowell Spencer and the Eaton Baptist Temple. Pastor has faithfully served here for 44 years. What an example! Please pray for God’s strength and power as we to desire to be an example to others!

Back in 2008, God miraculously provided us with our 28 foot 2003 Fifth Wheel. Although it was small (only one slide out), and was now beginning to require several repairs, Judy and I were holding fast to Philippians 4:11 which says, “In whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content.” Because of our current RV’s age and our growing family, we had decided that over the next couple of years we would began praying and saving for a newer rig. Prayer is asking; the answer is receiving! In this case, fast! We had only been praying for about five days when God directed our path to a 34 foot 2009 triple slide out fifth wheel. It fit our family and ministry needs perfectly, but normally it would be thousands beyond what we could afford. However, the previous owners used it once, determined camping was not for them, and decide to sell. God’s timing was perfect. We purchased it for a shocking $18,000 below normal retail. God was answering, we were receiving! It was beautiful, but we feared the hardest part was coming; selling our 2003 unit in a slumping recreational vehicle market. God was at work again. The minute we got back from purchasing the new one, I received an email. A lady wrote, “Call me; I’m interested in your fifth wheel.” The next day her husband and her traveled over three hours and bought our fifth wheel. We serve an awesome God! As Judy, Titus, and I settle into our new “home,” we are reminded of verse 19 from the chapter mentioned earlier. “But my God shall supply all your needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” Thank You Lord!

“As we were allowed of God to be put in trust with the Gospel, even so we speak; not as pleasing men, but God, which trieth our hearts.” (1 Thess. 2:4) This month God has “allowed” us to serve him, not as pleasers of man, but as servants of Christ. The month of September started in Southern Illinois. At the conclusion of the revival week, the pastor shared with us how God had answered his prayer in sending their church “Revival, and not just a routine.” The next week we made our yearly climb up the mountains of western Virginia to be with the kind-hearted folks of the Skeetrock Bible Church. This congregation is truly a lighthouse of hope to a lost community. The 19th of September we started a great week of revival at the Locust Valley Bible Church. Every year the hospitality of these people is overwhelming. God also blessed as we saw two young ladies accept Christ as Savior. The following week we headed for Judy’s and my home church in Ephrata, PA. The three days prior to the revival meeting, we worked with the church at Pennsylvania’s largest street fair. We had a blast making thousands of balloon creations. As the child received the balloons, the parents gladly accepted a Gospel tract. During the street fair and the revival, it was wonderful to see God work as well as spend precious time with family and friends. Judy’s 6 year old cousin even accepted Christ as a result of our Kids-4-Christ program. As we humbly thank you for your continued prayers and support, we are thankful “we are allowed of God to be put in trust with the Gospel.”

September 7. 2010
Just as the Apostle Paul said in 1 Corinthians, “We preach Christ crucified,…the power of God, and the wisdom of God.” As we preached Christ throughout the month of August, we truly saw the power and wisdom of God. August began with a great week of VBS in the beautful new complex of Fellowship Baptist Church in Vienna, West Virginia. “Jesus Saves” and “Perhaps Today,” our special music during the Sunday morning service, even aired across the West Virginia/Ohio region via the church’s television broadcast. Our next week took us through the hectic Detroit traffic to the Shelby Bible Church of Shelby Township, Michigan, one of our supporting churches. Just like many times before, the people welcomed us with opened hearts and enthusiatically assisted throughout the week. (They even took us to a Detroit Tigers game.) Then it was back to Ohio to the Liberty Baptist Church where the adults and kids alike love VBS. A special thanks to Dr. Tom Williams and his people for recently becoming monthly supporters. Finally at the Gospel Baptist Church in Little Hocking, Ohio, we finshed off the summer with two more salvations. Praise the Lord for the salvation of 25 young people throughout this summer of “Campin’ on Commandments.”
As we switched gears from summer VBS minstry to fall revivals, we headed towards Ashland, Ohio and Marantha Baptist for the 45th anniversary of the church. Over a year ago, Pastor Grover contacted both us and my mom’s parents, Ron & Donna Merrill, to schedule this special weekend. It was great to serve together with Grandpa and Grandma during this celebration which included a two-hour Saturday night concert and the services all day Sunday. On September 5th, we just finished our first revival for this fall at Makanda Baptist Church. As God blessed and stirred the hearts of these dear folks from southern Illinois, it was wonderful to see their desire to bless us with an abundance of fruits & veggies. Pastor Stewart told us “Just as I was praying, your ministry brought our church revival and was not just a routine.” Thank you for your faithful prayers and support as we endeavor to ”Preach Chirst crucified” thoughout the coming fall. Take a miniute to explore our new photo album.

August 4, 2010
Luke 15:7b says, “Joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth.” Because of God’s saving grace, the month of July brought exceeding joy to heaven and to our hearts. Four days after the birth of Titus, all eight of us were united in ministry for the first time in Raleigh, North Carolina. Following a great week of VBS with over 300 in attendance the final day, a lady shared that she had been fervently praying for a long time for the salvation of her two neighbor kids. She said, “I want to tell you what a blessing your ministry was to me. This week both my neighbor kids got saved.” What an encouragement, especially following a $2400 repair to the Turbo of my parent’s truck. The next week we traveled 350 miles to Camp Tohiglo near Greencastle, Pennsylvania for junior week (8-11 year olds). I taught a series entitled “From Creation to the Cross” during the morning Bible class, while we all presented “Campin’ on Commandments” during the evening chapel. The joy of heaven resounded again as seven of the 81 campers accepted Christ. After camp, we had a rare occurrence; a trip of only 25 miles to our next meeting at the Chambersburg Bible Church. The kindness and enthusiasm of the church, as well as two salvation decisions, made for an excellent week. We praise the Lord that 22 have trusted Christ so far this summer. Will you pray with us that even more “Joy shall be in heaven” during this week in Vienna, West Virginia and during our three remaining weeks of VBS in Michigan and Ohio?
Titus Update: Now four weeks old, Titus loves eating, all the affection of family and friends, and “listening” on mommy’s lap during nightly VBS.

July 13, 2010 - Titus Jethniel Wyler (born July 8, 2010)
Jethniel and Judy Wyler are pleased to announce the birth of their son, Titus Jethniel Wyler. He weighs 9lbs 3oz, and is 22in long. During Judy’s amazing 40 1/2 hours of labor, God truly gave her strength as she kept repeating Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me."  20 family members including “Grandpa & Grandma Wyler” (Doug & Ronda) came to meet Titus. They were all overjoyed and such an encouragement. We want to extend a special thanks to each one of you that prayed for Judy and Titus, to Jennifer Stewart (the midwife), and to Ripley Baptist Temple for their kindness and hospitality during our four week stay. A safe delivery and healthy baby our truly answers to prayer. Thank you Lord for Titus! As Titus joins the Wylers on Wheels, Judy and I desire to continue our godly heritage as we train him to serve the Lord. Titus is excited to meet you soon! (pictures - upper right: Titus two hours after birth, left: our family the day of birth)

July 3, 2010 - by Jethniel Wyler
Do you love America? Although our blessings are bountiful, the privilege to worship our Savior freely is reason enough to love the United States. Praise the Lord for those who have served to protect and promote this cherished liberty. “Freedom isn’t Free!”
Strength, salvations, and safety are just a few of this updates highlights. God has given us all strength to serve during our fast-paced summer ministry. Judy has proven the power and peace of God especially true as we continue to await the arrival of our baby. The Ripley Baptist Temple family has embraced us with open arms, including a church-wide baby shower. Singing special music, playing my trumpet, and going on visitation have been a privilege. June 20-24, “Campin’ on Commandments” hit the stage of the Temple Baptist Church of Kalamazoo, Michigan. Sunday night started with 31 “campers,” but before the weeks end, there were had over 70 including two salvations. Last week, Ranger Wyler, Camp Commander Coleman (pictured above), and the rest of the family were with the dear folks of Tower Baptist in Lorain, Ohio. Three more young people accepted Christ including a girl named Nashalie who wrote this on our Facebook page: “I love what you guys are doing. I love your singing. I love your acting & Mary Jones the weaver (Ronda Wyler). I’m really praying for u guys to keep on. I am having such a great time with u guys. I’m just really sad that tomorrow is the last day. Well, I just really wanted to thank you guys & tell you that you are a wonderful family!” The night after she wrote this she accepted Christ. What a blessing! Please pray for God to continue working in this coming week of VBS in Millersburg,Ohio.
Jerrill and Andrea are settled into their apartment and assisting in the church ministries of the Port St Lucie Bible Church. Their new address is:
Jerrill and Andrea Wyler, 1018 SW Abingdon Ave, Port St. Lucie, FL 34953
As we eagerly await the baby’s birth, we humbly ask for your continued prayers for Judy, the baby, and the entire family ministry. Happy Independence Day!

June 16, 2010 - by Jethniel Wyler
We all rejoiced together on June 5th as Jerrill and Andrea shared their vows and became husband and wife . They both are headed to Port St. Lucie, Florida to serve at Port St. Lucie Bible Church. We pray that God will bless their marriage and ministry. Jethniel and I were able to join the family for the first week of Bible School at Mount Zion Baptist Church in Danielsville, Georgia. We were praising God to see a great attendance of children and the salvation of a nine year old boy named, Jordan. As the week ended, we parted with the family for a few weeks as Jethniel and I came to Ripley, West Virginia where Baby Wyler could make his/her appearance in this world any day. Jethniel and I along with our Midwife are overjoyed as we anticipate the day. We are assisting in any way possible with the great ministry of Ripley Baptist Temple while they graciously allow us to park here. Jethniel is helping each day with a bus route for day camp and will be juggling on Friday. Doug, Ronda, Joel, Javonda, and Jaron are currently hard at work with VBS in Bucyrus, Ohio. They had 88 “campers” last night and are increasing each night. Ronda just dealt with a precious 10 year old girl named Morgan. As they knelt down at the pew, she prayed in her own words for Jesus to be her Savior. Nothing in life could be more rewarding than knowing another dear child will now live with Jesus forever. Four more have also accepted Christ at Day Camp here in West Virginia. Praise God he is still saving souls! 2 Thessalonians 3:1  says “Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may have free course, and be glorified, even as it is with you:” Like Paul, we request your prayer that God’s Word would penetrate the hearts of many as we, like you, continue to serve our Savior.

June 1, 2010
Having just completed a Memorial Day weekend of services in Delaware, Ohio, we are prepared, packed, and on our way to Georgia for our first week of “Campin’ on Commandments.” It is going to be an action packed summer of eleven Vacation Bible schools and a week of camp. Adding to the excitement is the birth of Judy’s and my first baby (Doug and Ronda’s first grandchild) and Jerrill’s wedding this Saturday, June 5th. The baby is actively letting mom know he/she is almost ready to arrive and meet many of our dear friends across America. Meanwhile, Jerrill and Andrea are finishing the final details for their big day and future life together. We cannot wait to reuniting with many of you this summer. Until then, let us all keep serving our Savior!

Colossians 3:2 says “Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.” The past weeks have been a great reminder that it is far better to “lay up treasures in heaven,” than on earth “where moth and rust doth corrupt.” (Matt. 6:19) Last month, Judy and I were devastated when the transmission on our new truck blew up, because just a month prior we had lost the transmission on our old truck. It seemed hopeless! Not knowing how we were going to pay for the $3300 transmission, we trusted that God had put us in the right place at the right time. Our home church in Ephrata, Pennsylvania collected a special offering which miraculously covered the entire repair. What a HUGE blessing! Back on the road, we headed for two week-long revivals in Pennsylvania. After an outstanding week in Somerset, we saw God work each night at the Dublin Mills Community Church near McConnellsburg. Many said they were greatly challenged by the series Dad preached entitled “Awake to Righteousness.” One of the highlights of the week was leading a 10 year old boy named Anthony to Christ during our Kids-4-Christ program. The nightly pre-service prayer, seeing many friends from the area, and Pastor Stoey’s kind-heartedness, were all a tremendous part of last week’s evangelistic meeting. We are now excitedly preparing for many Wyler family events including:
  • Joel’s high school graduation on May 30th at Troy Chapel in Delaware, Ohio.
  • Jerrill and Andrea’s wedding on June 5th in Georgia.
  • The birth of Jethniel and Judy’s first baby around June 24th.
  • 12 weeks of VBS as we go “Camping on Commandments.”
We look forward to seeing many of you at one of the coming occasions. Until then, let us keep our eyes focused on heaven as we serve here on earth.

May 8, 2010
We just finished an exciting and encouraging week of meetings in Somerset, PA. What a wonderful week!  The services had excellent attendance throughout the week, especially for our Kids-4-Christ program where our high night was 25 children. God was really working among His people. (The church even had a surprise birthday party for Jaron on Friday night.) Our rigs are on the road again headed for our next revival in McConnellsburg, PA. Pray for God’s power in the week ahead and for the coming summer of VBS.

April 16, 2010
We’re heading north! On Resurrection Sunday, we had an exciting day of services in Pensacola, Florida. The 8AM sunrise service was a wonderful celebration despite the presence of rain forcing us inside. Our meeting in Pensacola gave us an opportunity to reunite with many wonderful friends and visit Pensacola Christian College where Ronda, Jethniel, Judy, and Jerrill all graduated. The northern trek continued to Hawkinsville, Georgia where we shared on April 11 at two different churches. Now we are journeying up to South Carolina to Calvary Baptist Church and School for a Ladies banquet and Sunday services. Pray along with us that the Lord will work in a special way this coming weekend. The most exciting news of April is our new CD “Perhaps Today” is now available online. We thank the Lord for His guidance during production and pray that this uplifting collection of eleven favorites will be a true blessing and encouragement. Click below to learn more.

Easter is a passionate and beautiful celebration of our risen Lord. But rather than simply observing this holiday as a mere tradition, let the words of 2 Corinthians 5:15 inspire us to serve our Savior. “They which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.”
During the second half of March, God has given us many occasions to humbly serve Him. On March 14, we were with Pastor Harper and his congregation in Port Salerno, Florida. They recently did a gorgeous auditorium renovation that will be a great asset for their future. Next, we had an excellent revival meeting in Eustis, Florida. There was a wonderful attendance at each service, in part because of the diligent effort to use the church van to bring young people to our Kids-4-Christ program. Another highlight of the week was having Judy’s brother with us during his spring break. William sang and also preached in the Sunday evening service before heading back to West Coast Baptist College to finish his senior year.
March 25 we were with the dear folks at Tri County Baptist in Lady Lake, Florida and look forward to returning next year for another fantastic meeting. This past Palm Sunday we sang and ministered with the delightful people at Deer Creek Church in Davenport, Florida. Tomorrow, we are off to Pensacola for an Easter sunrise and morning service and then look forward to reuniting with some dear friends from our college days at Pensacola Christian College. This Easter take a moment to consider 2 Corinthians 5:15 and live unto Him.

March 29, 2010 - Update on Jethniel & Judy's Truck
As many of you know, Judy and I had been patiently waiting on God to supply a newer truck. Then somewhat unexpectedly our 1995 truck finally gave out. Judy and I found ourselves stranded on the side of the road with a blown transmission. During our five and half hour delay, God sent some fellow RVers to help. Then Dad drove his truck 300 miles to help me tow our broken-down truck to the nearest diesel mechanic and haul our “house” to Jerrill’s church in Port Saint Lucie, Florida for our next meeting. God was providing, but we now were without a vehicle to tow our RV to future meetings. Then on March 9th, after a wonderful checkup for both Judy and the coming baby, God supplied our desperate need. We were able to purchase a 2000 Ford F350 crew cab (pictured) with plenty of room for the baby. What a huge answer to months of prayer! We look forward to using this blessing from God to transport our ministry for years to come.
But the story is not over. We still had to sell our old truck. Only one major problem; most people are not looking to buy a truck that does not run. But trusting the Lord, I listed it online. Within thirty minutes, I had three calls and sold it that afternoon. Jesus said in Luke 18:27, “The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.” With a newer truck and wonderful recent meetings, we humbly thank the Lord for his abundant goodness. TO GOD BE THE GLORY!

On February 20th and 21st , we did two concerts in Sebring and Wauchula, Florida. God’s power, friendly people, and wonderful compliments make us look forward to serving the Lord at both events again next year. We kicked off a wonderful meeting at Brush Arbor Baptist Church on February 27. During Sunday School, we all had an opportunity to speak. Doug and Ronda taught the men and women’s classes, while Judy and I spoke to the teens. Through daily school chapels, five revivals services, and our nightly Kids-4-Christ program, we saw God work in a mighty way which included a 7th grade boy’s decision to trust Christ as Savior. Pastor Creel and his staff are truly making a difference in the Orlando area; we look forward with great anticipation to our next time together. March 7 we had a meeting at Jerrill’s church in Port Saint Lucie, Florida. Being with Jerrill and seeing how God is using Him was very exciting and a great reminder that God has given each of us a special place to serve. Tomorrow, God has placed us at the First Baptist Church of Port Salerno, Florida.

Febuary 15, 2010
In Psalm 7:17 David said, “I will praise the Lord according to His righteousness: and will sing praise to the name of the Lord most high." David's psalm is our desire. On occasion, God gives us wonderful opportunities to proclaim His word through musical programs. We are excitedly preparing for two such concerts this weekend in Florida. Pray that God will use us to encourage His people and spread the Gospel as we strive to lift up His name. Check our itinerary to see exactly where we will be in the coming weeks.

Isaiah 24:14 says, “They shall lift up their voice, they shall sing for the majesty of the LORD.” We just finished doing exactly that in Wildwood, Florida. Over 70 people filled the building at the Three Flags RV Resort. So many folks adamantly shared their appreciation for our family-style ministry. We look forward to presenting a concert there again next year! A couple weeks ago on an open Sunday, we attended the church services held at the place we were staying. To our surprise, a friend from Pennsylvania, who was in Florida for the winter, was the music director. After the service, they ask us to sing the following Sunday. God provided another wonderful opportunity for us to lift up His name. Currently, we are diligently preparing for our many upcoming revival meetings across the east coast. As we thank the Lord for many new friends, we are reminded of you and your kindness towards our ministry.

Doug and Ronda just got back from seeing Rev. Ron Merrill (Ronda’s father).  As many of you already know, he suffered from two strokes on December 22nd. He was just released from the hospital on Friday the 8th.  Doug and Ronda drove from Lakeland, FL to Greenville, SC (1200 mile round trip) to be of help for three days.  Back in Lakeland, Jethniel and Judy stayed near Joel, Javonda, and Jaron and ministered at Shepherd Road Baptist Church.  With God's guidance, Jethniel has busily been working on mixing/mastering the songs for our new CD which is, Lord willing, coming out Spring 2010!

Our Christmas season was full of blessings. We had a wonderful program in Stuart, FL with 14 prisoner's children and many parents and guardians. We shared the truth and Christmas gifts with these children, most of whom had never been inside a church. Christmas day was a wonderful time as a family. We shared food, presents, and TONS of laughs. The 28th of December we ministered at Shepherd Rd. Baptist Church in Mulberry, FL. These dear folks were blessed and encouraged as we worshiped our Savior in music and message. New for 2010 is our Email Updates. Please join our Email Updates to see how your kindness toward us is blessing others!

We just finished a senior meeting for the "Golden Heirs" in St. Petersburg, FL. The concert included some favorite songs, juggling, balloons, and a variety of brand new Christmas music. We look forward to celebrating Christ's birth and our annual ministry to prisoner's children.

We've been moving! Traveling is normal for us, but recently we've been go, go, go.  November 15-17, we did four meetings in three different states. Praise the Lord for traveling mercies and great services. At Athens Christian School, we ministered in chapels for the elementary then for the middle school. What a great response from both the students and staff! Thanksgiving was also a fabulous time with family. Jerrill and Andrea were able to be with us, as well as Ronda's parents, Ron and Donna. Great memories! This past Sunday we were at Grace Baptist and Ridgeway Baptist in Northeast Georgia. One of the church bulletins included this statement, "We're too blessed to be depressed." Having just past thanksgiving and looking forward to Christmas, let us not gloat in our sorrows, but rather count our blessings.

The Wylers on Wheels have completed recording for the new CD! Throughout each day, God truly was faithful. There is still much work to be done as we look forward to the CD's release, spring 2010. On October 25, we had an uplifting meeting at the Twin Valley Bible Church in Morgantown, PA. Then we were off to Berean Bible Church. (Jethniel and Judy's home church) November 1st was a great Sunday with many first-time visitors, plus Jerrill was with us for Sunday and a few days of recording. It was great to have the whole family together.

FAMILY NEWS:
  • On October 9, Jerrill asked Andrea Gordon from Georgia to marry him. She said YES. Congrats to Jerrill!
  • Jethniel and Judy are expecting their first baby! They are so excited! The due date is June 24, 2010.

God is a great God and through the past few weeks He has blessed. We recently completed revival meetings at Independent Bible Church in Northumberland, Pennsylvania. The people were very kind and showed much enthusiasm in serving the Lord. The annual "Chili Cook-off" was very exciting as we were involved in the 30th Anniversary Celebration of Camp Tohiglo in Mercersburg, Pennsylvannia. Over 250 people attended the evening service. We were glad to see dozens of friends and meet many more! We would appreciate your prayers as we are in the process of recording our new CD. Praise the Lord for his faithfulness.

At Locust Valley Bible Church in Middletown, Maryland, we had a wonderful week of revival meetings. Doug preached a new series entitled "Awake unto Righteousness." By the pastor's request, Ronda and family presented the exciting story of "Helen Cadbury: prayer, her pocket, and chocolate." Praise the Lord for the kindness of these dear folks including a birthday party for Doug and Ronda.

We just finished a great "Round Up Sunday" at South Charlotte Baptist Church in Pineville, NC. God worked in a mighty way in many lives and families. We are so thankful for the kindness and hospitality of Pastor Scott and the Staff. The week prior we were at Skeetrock Bible Church and Faith Bible Church in the mountains of western Virginia. The people had been planning for the last year and met us with open arms. What a excellent week we had with these dear folks. Praise the Lord for safety up, down, and around one lane mountain roads.
